Talking about anger
I use to be angry a lot …I was pissed off at the world.
And quite frankly I was a real jerk.
I had a chip on my shoulder a mile wide …but a few things happened in my life that change that.
And I learned that being angry and negative all the time did nothing but wear me out.
I also learned that a lot of my anger was brought on by myself.
I chose to be angry when I could have chosen to not be.
Now I am not saying that all people choose to be sad or angry .
I am simply saying that some of us do take that path when we could clearly go another direction.
I am speaking from personal experience here .
A lot of things happen in life that can make us sad and angry .
And I am not trying to diminish that in any way.
A lot of anger is well deserved.
However a lot of the time we carry anger around with us when it is not necessary .
Now don’t get me wrong I still get angry .
Especially when I think about a certain thing that happen to me when I was a child.
However even though I get angry I don’t let that anger take me over anymore .
I have learned that it does not take away the fact that the terrible thing happen to me …just because I am angry.
No the anger just brings on more sadness.
So I do my best to just stay calm .
The bottom line to all this.
Is anger can lead to sadness and sadness leads to depression and we all know what depression can do.
So just try to stay calm and if you have to seek help do it .
just try to get help.
Because life is to short to be angry all the time .
