Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege

It makes me sad to know that my country that I love so much  has become something that  we once spoke out and fought against.
We have become everything we use to hate .

I believe America  is the greatest country in the world.
However I just wish we would act like it .
We have  drifted away from being the country known for peace and love .
We have now become a country known for war and lies.
This not only scares me it makes me sad.

I do not normally use the internet  to express my political views.
However lately I have truly become sadden by the leadership of my country.
You may say that I  am non patriotic  or anti America  because I feel like this.
However you are wrong .
I love my country very much .. I am just ashamed of where my president has taken my country.

I know that  me saying this will not change a thing.
However I am an American I have the freedom to speak my mind.
I have the freedom to speak out against what I think is wrong .
Even if the very thing I speak out against is  the leadership of my country .

Now we have an upcoming election
I for one will not tell you who to vote for.
I just hope we put someone in office that will  put America back to where we once were.
We need  a leader to make America  the peace loving country  again..

Stop the lies and the hate .
Lets become the country  that we once were..
